The EMD GP7 is a four-axle (B-B) diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and General Motors Diesel between October 1949 and May 1954, 2,729 (plus 5 B units) were built by EMD.
This model is painted in the Union Pacific livery, road number 103. This model has opening cab doors, with a full interior. Separately applied detail parts. The paint is in excellent condition. This model was built and painted several years ago. It has some small damaged parts on it. The hand rail on the fireman’s side is broken. The front window moulin on the fireman’s has a small bend in it. The door on the engineer’s side has a broken hinge. The model doesn’t include lighting, no number board lenses, no headlight lenses, nor marker light jewels. There is paint missing in a couple of spots on the handrails.
